Sycamore Lane is holding a NED's Mindset Mission Presentation for students in our gymnasium on Monday, June 12 at 8:30 am.

Transform how students face challenges!

From the moment our students enter the gym, the captivating performer takes them on a 45-minute journey filled with humor, yo-yo and magic tricks, puppetry, and storytelling.

The assembly introduces a cartoon boy named NED who is on a very important mission: to find his mindset. Led by clues and memorable characters, he overcomes Mt. Everest’s toughest obstacles, uncovers inner-treasures on a Caribbean island, and grows his brain while repairing a sputtering spaceship. Throughout the performance, our students discover how to activate their growth mindset to overcome social, emotional and academic challenges.

Sycamore Lane chose the Pay-It-Forward option, so we receive NED's Mindset Mission assembly without paying a fee. In return, Sycamore Lane runs a Pay-It-Forward sale. Each school's effort at selling NED gear, like yo-yos, makes it possible for the program to visit the next school. Kids love having a hands-on activity that helps them put NED's message in motion. Parents are happy to see their kids engaged in a non-electronic toy that spans across generations.

NED's Mindset Mission gear and yo-yos will be on sale from June 12 to June 23. Please see the attached letter and order form. Your student may purchase items any day at Recess (9:45 to 10:15 am) in the Library.
